well back in the days of enthusiasm, I would say we could refund it all, and process it again....but then I did it once and realised what a waste of time it was. So now its just 'oh sorry, nothing we can do unfortunately' For anyone still that enthusiastic! just look at the receipt, take note...

Why we dont have a cage for 2 years olds at the front of the store remains a mystery to me. Saves money: less damaged stock, less injuries, less :chainsaw:ANGRY staff! Where are those idea forms when you need them???? ok maybe slightly ott, but its been one of those days!

actually you might be right.....though we were told at store level they were both public holidays. even if they're both not, ill live with them paying as if they are!

^^VERY interesting i like most of it, especially receipts (i've always thought they were too long, and then they made them even LONGER with 4 lines about everydayrewards on every receipt!) Was this all on corecomms? I really need access!

In all likelihood, it wont be read- I know for a fact mine wasnt. Just adding a resume is one step many others dont do.

Yes, it definately has been mystery shoppers used to buy 3 things to test that we DIDN't offer a bag, now when they do its to check that we DO offer them a bag! But the other day I still heard the thing on the safeway radio....'if you buy 3 items or less we wont automatically give you a plastic...

I know, If I was running things I'd say receipt= refund, no receipt= exchange only (and ID may be required) *there is another circumstance that we can't refund something, when they're trying to refund something we don;t sell! the other day this idiot woman comes in with this butter with the...

its like your voting from a management perspective! management and the sda have agreed on the AGREEment! In Victoria we've always had breaks for a 4 hour shift, and guess what, its manageable. I wouldn't be surprised if a few more 3 1/2 hr shifts are rostered tho. From an employee...

    The Woolworths Thread

lol i wish we could do this.............but.....we can't! If she's contracted/ permanetly rostered to a shift then surely you cant change that? And won't she still get supervisor rates as contracted even though she's not supervising, and then you're gonna hav to pay the supervisor rates to...

OMG hope our store never gets this tight, but i guess this is what "going over shrinkage with a fine tooth comb" means.

Ugh sounds crap I'm sure you going on break at 5.30 would violate the EBA, defs in VIC. Speak to SSM about both, see if the shitty supervisor becomes slightly less shitty next time she sees you.

yes, i know about it. That is why we have a padlock which we LOCK! Hopefully the food recovery program will resolve the issue of throwing out perfectly good food, mostly.

We don't follow the 3 items or less policy for plastic bags anymore, its not official policy. why they would do something that would seemingly increase the take up of plastic bags is beyond me. That said, green bags really slow me down on the rare occasions im on a big register, i kinda...

Just got the sda mag in the mail, answers a couple of questions 1: because boxing day fell on a saturday this year both the Saturday and Monday were public holidays (In VICTORIA- not other states)- that explains my very impressive pay slip! 2: interim PAY RISE as of TODAY!! (new agreement to be...

that's not the way we do it at our store, never heard of the $5 rule for cards. And if they paid by card, it goes bak on the card (not a returns card) Anyway here's the returns policy, it's online...
