No you can't. I'm pretty sure you have to go from first principles, and if you do that you get marked wrong. Its easy to make mistakes that way anyway since it often isn't the case.

The purpose is to find the concentration of the sodium hydroxide solution which you can't prepare a primary standard of. You then need this concentration to find the conc. of the acetic acid.

Your moderated assessment mark doesn't depend on how well the subject scales at all, so I wouldn't assume this. I'd say low 80s though. I find it very hard to believe they'd give a band 6 for getting 70 something.

You only need as much calculus as is in the 3unit course. I wish I did CSSA, graphs are piss easy. Practicing doesn't help that much, you just have to be able to manipulate the graphs.
