OMG, this is my first post in ages...how is everyone going? I'm kinda nervous and excited about HSC Results/UAI...I feel that there are a lot of expectations on my part but I've started work today so I will be keeping busy over the next few days so as to distract myself from worrying about them...
It don't think it was super easy - but it was generally good compared to other years. Most of the questions were broad and a majority of the people here seemed to have performed well so it means there is a lot of competition...
I didn't pre-prepare essasy but was able to tackle the questions...
YaY...our graduation is on the 27th [Thursday] - nothing too flashy but I'm so excited for it. I never thought this day would arrive!!!
Then we have a grad dinner at the local RSL. Our formal is after the HSC but I'm not attending that one...
Hey guys, just some questions from cambridge:
does anyone have the solutions to the last 3 questions of the geometry of a circle exercise in the topic of 'Harder 3 Unit'?
any help would be appreciated thanks...
Mudcake and Vanilla Ice Cream, Coffee, Chocolate, Chocolate covered Coffee Beans...anyone notice a trend? lol
I usually treat myself to buy DVDs of the shows I miss on tv, foods that I like, power-naps, days off without study etc
This is just a quick question from the conquering chemistry textbook Exercise 12:
Cooling systems in motor cars are sealed: this means that the liquid(mainly water) is reciculated and is only occasionally replaced. A typical cooling system contains 10L. If all the liquid was water containing...
didn't go to school today because I was sick :( ...I don't know what's wrong with me - firstly I had cold/flu, then I started getting massive headaches and getting dizzy, vomitting etc. It wasn't really pleasant but I'm getting better...luckily I didn't miss out on too much in school [just bio...
Re: Infoday/USYD Live
OMG i am so tired from the day especially with the trackwork..but it was worth it.
My friends and I had a great time both at USYD AND UTS...didn't get many free stuff cause we couldn't be bothered chatting with random people :) and it was packed.
UTS seemed a little...
hey thanks for the response Without Wings - had a look at the times for the corresponding sessions we wanted to participate in...so all is good. it will just be a tight squeeze trying to fit all the stuff I wanna do in USYD and UTS but it will be fun. hopefully it doesn't rain too much tomorrow...
yeah I'm going tomorrow with some friends from school to both USYD and UTS. We are going to stay in USYD til 12.00, then we'll head off to UTS lol
Question: are the open days structured? as in; is there a introductory session for everyone or do u go straight into sessions/lectures/talks etc...
just an update:
Bio Trial Exam: 89% which I was quite disappointed with because this is the first time I got below 90% but I still managed to come first with an overall mark of 94/100 and an overall ranking of 1/15
AND I received my marks for the chem prac which was 28/30
Overall I'm...
I only do bio and chem but enjoy them both. Bio has a lot of theory and content - memorising facts, definitions and so forth but chem needs more understanding and patience as it can get quite monotonous/dull.
Year 11 sets up the basis you will need for the HSC. In Year 11 u will learn most...
yeah tell me about it...from this it appears quite pathetic lol but I go to a small school and our year group or cohort is only around 80 students so from this perspective it is understandable. We started off with a few more students but they soon dropped down to standard due to a myriad of...
Here are the first batch of results I received to today:
Maths Extension 2: 102/120 [Rank in Exam: 2/15 and Overall Rank: 2/15]
Maths Extension 1: 76/84 [Rank in Exam: 2/17 and Overall Rank: 1/17]
English Advanced: 91/105 [Rank in Exam: 1/10 and Overall Rank: 1/10]
:D I'm quite happy...
yay i'm excited to go...it sucks though that the USYD and UTS are on the same day - I would try to go to USYD in the morning and UTS in the afternoon. is that a good idea or would u guys recommend just attending one?
yayness, just finished my last trial exam yesterday [chem] which was kinda hard but I am just so glad to have finished...sheer euphoria lol
anyways good luck to those still in trials mode [it will all be over soon, so hang in there!!!]
