^ true, very true indeed - marks are insignificant compared to rank although it is a given that u will get pissed off if you come so close to a particular mark range u were aiming for and just missed out. this has happened to be a number of times before and it made me want to pour gasoline on...

practice makes perfect my friend [almost perfect anyway!] - I have significantly increased my writing speed in the last few months from 1000 to 1400 words in 40-45 mins so there's definitely a chance for improvement. anyways, good luck *runs off and attempts to write english essays faster* :)

it was a not so good day, more than half my teachers were absent so basically did very little work with substitute teachers PLUS I had a massive headache - i think I'm about to get a cold/flu :( one week before trials........save me.......!!!

did you guys get your UAC Books yet? We received ours yesterday but I had to get mine today since I was away yesterday for the UMAT. Anyways have fun with ur applications! :P

^ yeah so true - once you get behind, it is so difficult to catch up especially with some teachers who seem to fly through the course! luckily I have the best maths ext 2 teacher who has a great program/outline thingy for teaching [he doesn't rush the course] lol

omg not long now! ^ i'm also apprehensive on getting there for the 8am session - my plan is to catch a train to central around 6.15 to 6.30am and then a tram to Wentworth Park. Thoughts? I am too scared to go by car or cab because i have had terrible experiences with traffic and i do not...

oh yeah - we also went to the Riverside Theatre to watch Rosencrantz & Guildenstern are Dead last term...it was really enjoyable and the actors were really funny!!!

yeah its definitely worth a try...overall, its difficulty and the massive amount of work in the subject is worthwhile if ur good at maths and/or love maths because the work u put in can be very rewarding in the end...
