definitely...forums and the internet in general are very addictive - it's almost unconcious when I visit BOS, kinda like a craving or instinct - its inevitable, you have to go on every day lol
we all need help!
that must be a relief to have completed your trials...mine are in weeks 4 & 5 term 3..................omg
anyways good luck to everyone who are yet to do their trials!
mine are in week 4 and 5 term 3 which is a while away yet so close and... i think my school doesn't buy trial papers and just makes them up or gets them from past papers etc [don't know whether that's good or not????]
omg...no matter how much i try to 'plan' in order to wake up early at like 7am - it just doesn't happen [i wish we didn't have to sleep - we would be so super productive lol] but then again i love sleep so its a catch-22 for me.
i've been getting around 9 hours sleep lately which is way more...
Re: Are you ready for the trials?
i wish i had that confidence or at least more time in a day lol ...whenever i study - time just goes by so quickly [which can be both good and bad]....anyways at least it gets easier as you get into the habit.
Re: Are you ready for the trials?
not ready yet...but I will be
just an essay for english and a research task for chem to get out of the way, then I can begin revising.
I don't wanna burn out though - uhh such a quandary! It is difficult to balance between sanity and performing well lol...
i wish i was on holidays...still have 4 days to go...can't wait - i wanna go watch transformers and harry potter lol
yeah and i have a chemistry excursion tomorrow to Sydney Uni to do some practical experiments - yay
oh well, it was quite an ordinary day...started mechanics in 4unit maths, revision in 3unit, boring free period after and a really tiresome english lesson.
oh yeah, we received some tragic news today...our lab assistant in the science department apparently passed away on the weekend...she had...
being in school during your holiday period just destroys the entire point of being on holidays lol
but at least you're bound to be productive [school-wise]
i think we've all reached a point where it's becoming extremely difficult to motivate ourselves for the HSC...the year has gone by so fast....so scary lol
but anyways, does anyone have any exciting plans after year 12?
Hey guys, this is just question 9 from Exercise 3.4:
P(ct, c/t), where t=/= 1, lies on the rectangular hyperbola xy=c^2. The tangent and normal at P meet the line y=X at T and N respectively. Show that:
a) OP = PN
b) OT.ON =4c^2
I was just wondering if there was another way of doing...
hey guys, sorry to be a pest but my mind is just goin blank on this cambridge exercise 3.2 question:
P(acos@, bsin@) and Q (acos#, bsin#) lie on an ellipse:
If PQ subtends a right angle at (a,o) show that tan(@/2)tan(#/2) = - b^2/a^2
sorry to be bothersome, but I'm kinda stuck on these 2, so if anyone can help out that would be awesome.
1. If p is real, and -2<p<2, show that the roots of the equation x^2 + px + 1 = 0 are non real complex numbers with a modulus of 1
2. Let H and K be the points representing the roots of...
