hey1 i wanted to do sci/commerce too! I can't believe it went up to 97.30 from 94.whatever!!! I didn't think it was going to be so popular...dammit but I got into science, so i'm still pretty happy!

i'm doing a bachelor of science, then transfering to science/commerce!!:) see you all there! does anyone have any advice on what subjects to choose in the first year? I take it maths, chem, physics and bio would keep my options open for different subjects not offered in the first year?

well if we get scaled down I'd hate to see what the general maths students get. Why would they scale down a paper that was reasonably difficult... like, use your common sense...

A lot of people got band 6 last year but when the UAI was calculated the scaling was pretty average like a 46 would go to a 43 and a 43 would go to a 38 scaled...don't think it gets scaled down...cause the 46 is your aligned mark not your raw and last year a 46 meant you were in the 99th...

hmmm for the loss of sight I said the person damaged their occipital lobe...the part of the cerebrum resonsable for vision in the brain...because they said he was unconsious...so I figured something with the brain.. for the receptors....that question puzzled me but they were only one mark...

yeh the test was pretty easy...however there was a real mix of emotions from the ppl t my school. But I'm sure it was easy because of how shit the bio exams have been over the past 2 years, there was a stink about the 2001 and 2002 bio papers... hopefully more people better be given band 6 this...
