    i'm stereotyping.. but people who arent generally avid readers, tend to read mainstream books, which are predominately things like dan brown, etc etc.... so avid readers [who think they're better than the occasional reader,] dont want to be seen reading the same book as those occasional reader...

    oh! i got the trilogy for xmas.. read it in two days.. it was wonderful.... similar to harry potter.. tho more sophisticated i think? i also got this follow up guide to it.. that i didnt quitebother reading.. [just went and looked for it but can't find it.. :(] i would really recommend these...

    hhaa like 3 years too late.. but i read the back blurb and thought 'this is really good, i'm going to fork out $50 on a hardcover copy..' and thankgod i invested in the hardcover copy because ive thrown it around a bit.. haha.. it's tedious i feel.. but it's a classic so eventually i will finish...
