    Final Exams Tomorrow!

There's plenty of BSing, justs hope for "effects of a [insert natural disaster] on a community" - BS about the feelings, destroyed property. History, "feelings of vietnam soldier's families" OR "attitudes of/to returned vets". :D

    General Thoughts: Science SC

Re: Science SC Dammit. I just guessed. I had convection at the tip of my tongue :( I knew there was a word. Actually, I think that other answer has to be acceleration. Temperature? Sweet, I put that :)

    Building Bridges? Hope, Daring?

"Plugs and bungs". I put assonance. It's not rhyme, it's not alliteration, wasn't the right context for onomatopoeia. One of my friends put 'slang' or 'colloquialism'. *Shrugs*. There may be more than one answer, it's like the opposite of multiple choice :D

    General Thoughts: Science SC

Re: Science SC Are you sure you aren't thinking of the other question that was .13mm (multiple choice)? *Crosses fingers and hopes I didn't screw something up* And I think that one that I put "ACCELERATION" for was meant to be "DISPLACEMENT" :( EDIT: I don't think it can be velocity either...

Stuff you can and can't take in

I had my calculator confiscated. Lame.

    English SC WAS A JOKE!!

Maybe you're not as good at english as you think :D An english paper can never be too easy. That one was easier than I expected, but that's good. And SC isn't a joke, it's just very easy for those who are held back by the simplicity of year 10.

    Time-wise, how did you go?

Huh? I thought you could only EVER walk out of a HSC exam after the first half hour but before the last. I had about 25mins left after each test. We certainly couldn't leave :(

    General Thoughts: Science SC

Re: Science SC Mmm.. This was harder than expected, I thought the short response were fairly easy though. Some of my answers that I can remember (in no particular order): ENERGY (What's carried in the wave of a tsunami that is the same as all waves) FLASK (object 'o') EARTHQUAKE (that one about...

    Building Bridges? Hope, Daring?

Mine refered to using our minds, working as a team to solve the worlds problems, then touched on global warming and water conservation.

    English Writing Tasks

I was in science, not in english. Hoping for high eighties in english now, because it was easier than I thought. Science, probably low eighties now.

    Are you ready??

Weak :mad1: Hmm. It seems to be elegible for supervising you must be over 60? :p

    English Study

There seems to be plenty to help revise the other subjects, any ideas for english?

    What School Certificate?

I don't think universities care too much about any achievements prior to year 11 and 12. I mean, they might be curious, but your current attitude and UAI is much more important than 2 years ago. Maybe a solid history helps someone get a principal's rec. which in turn helps them get into uni?

    When it's over

That's what our class is allowed to do, come back for mornings/afternoons 5 days a fortnight and go home when we don't have lessons. It's pointless to stay, they should let you go home.
  15. I

What do you think you're going to get in SC?

    I am accelerated.
  16. I

What do you think you're going to get in SC?

    •Already have 91% in maths Hoping for: •Science - band 6 •Computing - band 6 :D •English - band 5 •Geography - band 5 •History - something that isn't too shocking.
  17. I

    When it's over

Go back to school every second day and continue my accelerated maths.
  18. I

    What School Certificate?

It IS only an SC, so those who drop out are the only ones who need good marks, but then again, those who drop out won't get good marks anyway. Catch 22. What sucks about my school is that you need 82 (or considered on application) to do advanced english. It's also their indication of what class...
