    NO OFFENCE but.......

You would think people would have better things to do than bag out a university they've never attended.

    UWS taboo

Seriously, get over it. You don't go to UWS and know nothing about it. If anyone is stupid and pathetic, it's the people bothering to come in here and write off the uni.

    UWS taboo

Who cares what UAI you get as long as you get into the course that you want? A lot of people ask why UWS? I say, why not? I used to travel an hour to get to UNSW and now I travel 20mins to get to UWS. There are a lot of factors that come into peoples' decision to choose a university and a...

    'Its a matter of trust'

Exactly, anyone who'll become PM is going to screw us over in one way or another .. it just depends on how much they're going to screw us over. We need a catchy phrase though...

    transferring between unis

I don't get it? All you should really have to do is put the degree you're currently enrolled in, the start year and how long you've been studying it (as I recall). I'd do it rather soon as well. I recall applying for a transfer way too late and having to pay a $99 late fee on top of the $35...

    Usyd vs UTS (Open DAY)

Even though I'm not a fan of UTS, I must admit Building 10 is pretty spiffy.

    How fast do you read?

Haha, thank god I'm not the only weirdo out there that reads and speaks too fast.
  13. christ_ine

    UWS taboo

Exactly. I don't mind it when people have valid reasons for saying this. But purposely going out of your way to bag out the uni is really retarded .. and childish at that. For example, I don't mind santaslayer's comments seeing as majority of the time (within all the emoticons and such)...

    Applying for uni?

It's always fun to do it though. But your Careers Advisor should have all the information you need, or the UAC website. That being said, you should already have your 2005 UAC Guide by this point. Haha, I was one of those nerdy people overly excited about preferences that my receipt number was...

    USYD or UTS?

Heh, I recall back in 2002 when I got an offer to study BSc @ UNSW and the UAI entry was only 70.00. But yeah, I'd go to both USYD and UTS Open Days. Both have really good lectures and talks as I've experienced. That and the free stuff, along with the advice, is pretty decent.

    Is ipt hard?

It's not hard, it's just tedious having to remember crap to regurgiate in an exam.

    UWS taboo

If you're going to be a tool, that's what the non-school forum is for.

    UWS taboo

True, but both our mods seem to be on permanent holidays.

    UWS open day

Free Red Bull is a reoccuring thing at UWS.

    student teacher relationships

It's a bit wrong, but once the student or teacher has left the school, it's whatever floats their boat.
