Just one thing, how the hell are you certain that all the solid is Barium Phosphate? Some of the crap may be BaSO4.

    HSC Assistance Tutoring

Bagging out tutors here again, are we? What fun!

    4u help

well not really both the arnold textbook and the catholic trials are written by the arnolds. I wouldn't call it plagiarism - u can't plagiarise yourself...it's rather an "advantage" you don't see HSC maths4u writers writing textbooks...

    Good permutation question.

no, for both 0 and 1 'A's, we use the same scenario: the 7P6 selection, as it takes into account whether you choose the 'A' or not.

    help on prac

i've had a look at some "literature", it said that Iodine generally fails to react with the dblbond. Perhaps the I- ion is less stable than the Br- or Cl- ion?

    Good permutation question.

    7! + 6*5*4*3*(6C2) + 6*5*4*(6C3) = 12840

Need a Physics or Maths tutor?

just as a matter of curiosity (not interest :D ), predd, how much dosh are u planning to charge?

    help on prac

resistance shouldn't affect voltage, it really only affects current. are you sure that it's supposed to increase? If the zinc-copper cell is exothermic, we should expect it to decrease because of le-chatelier's principle. but idunno whether it's exothermic or endothermic. and it could...

    4 Unit

the point of exercise questions is to put you in "trouble" before the exam period. so, as a matter of innovation, i suggest that you time yourself when you do each problem, and write down the time you took to do the question, right after the answer (in brackets or something). So, as you...

    Need a Maths tutor?

you'd prolly have to look closely at the syllabus to teach then, and make sure you don't mix in any 3u or 4u stuff.

    Need a Maths tutor?

Ext2 maths ppl don't learn the 2u syllabus, btw, so you would be teaching something you haven't learnt yourself.

    needin some1 smart!!

Re: Re: needin some1 smart!! umm, jus some small corrections: 1) The double bond in ethene won't react with HSO4- because HSO4- is negatively charged and the double-bond is electron rich. Rather the double bond reacts with the H+, and then the thing reacts with the water, stealing the OH-...

    4u help

well if u're at a skool that uses the catholic trials, it's  i normally jus get a lot of past papers to do. doin HSC pastpapers is especially helpful. the questions are actually pretty similar to previous-years ones...

    4u help

our skool issued arnold and the fitz fitz is useless except the mechanics arnold is pretty ok, has heaps of problems you'll recognise in the past catholics papers, so it's good.

    4 Unit

but i reckon there're heaps of little tricks you never get taught from normal 4u teachers, but they really help in doing the harder problems. that's wot I've found anyways... dun have any of these on my mind atm, so dun ask yet...
  17. S

    4u help

hmm...idunno wot i'm talking about either. All I've read is the comlex #s part, and none of their problems I would consider as a Q8er.
  18. S

    4u help

Had a look at terry lee's complex #'s section. None of the questions are that complicated.
  19. S

    4 Unit

Get taught properly on motion (especially on drawing forces), otherwise you'll be very lost.

    Tutoring?

The ODDS are pretty CRAP when it comes to drawing teachers out of hats.
