hmmm....what many of you fail to consider is all the scholarship candidates at private schools who don't have to pay the high fees, and who are most likely to get into the honour rolls when it comes to the HSC.
For fee-paying students, it's not quite as simple as amenities and or 'snob' value...
yeah, i agree with kini mini. But I didn't like chem pathways as much as Contexts.
Contexts is very wordy, so complement it with good summaries. You can't do well if you buy summaries, you have to synthesise the information yourself.
Excel is yicky.
no, they only publish it the year that you did it, because you can't compare a 95 in one year to a 95 in another year.
that's also why they take the scaling of the year that you did it when calculating your UAI.
ring your school for your student number.
you can have your pin re-issued by writing to UAC or the Board of Studies. You have to give them details like you DOB, student number, daytime phone number and sign it. They'll mail it to you.

Selective schools are not all the same. They definitely do not produce people who are self-centred to ANY extent above that...
Jenjen does have a point there, about selective schools being overrated. Although, come on - Barker isn't significantly better than any other good school out there (imho).
No-one's even received their UAI yet, hehe. I hope you're not year 12, 2002 instinct.
The cutoffs will be out with the first round of offers, on the 17th of January I think.
Sorry, we just are a little skeptic in general when it comes to tutors...it's jsut that we've had some pretty loony crackpots on here before, even teachers, who were either leading us on or making unreasonable claims and offers...don't take it personally.
Although, the word use is a bit of a...
