I think that is fair, in a way...and people have to learn how to manage their time better so they aren't taking time off before things are due. But it's an inconvience for those who actually do happen to be sick immediately before an assessment.

I always did that in high school. Because i had no motivation to do otherwise, and could get away with it easily. in UNI i changed my ways somewhat cos there are just too many, and they are physically impossible to do overnight.

It should be fine, unless your teacher makes you sign a form or something as your handing it in...a few of my high school teachers did that. (for what reason, I do not know). But if it's just a matter of handing it over, I don't see the problem...

So many people here seem to want to know what to expect in terms of workload going from Year 12 to UNI, but since it varies from course to course there is no straight answer, I think it would be helpful/interesting if people said what their course was and whether it is more or less work, and...

Generally speaking, yes...but the thing is-they basically just schedule lectures anywhere they will fit. It may so happen that all the lectures are fit into 3 or 4 days...or they may so happen to be spread out over 5 days. It's however is most convenient for the uni overall.

It's probably too late now anyway...if you catch someone cheating, you'd probably have to report it before they leave the exam room for them to do anything about it. I would just leave it.
