    muck up day

haha poor cleaner! you would probably find it in the party/birthday section at spotlight or at any party shop.

    muck up day

The glad wrap on the toilet bowls could pass .. however the laxatives really is just plain stupid. The negative implications on people's health is too severe to even consider it, plus there are some pretty awful side effects they can cause. Your school would react really badly because besides...

    Where do you stand?

I'm not 100% sure. It could be because many more young people believe that the elected Government should be 'socially responsible' and that employees, under-represented groups, Indigenous Australians etc should have more rights; rather than the Government supporting employers and businesses...

    muck up day

Haha that's what we're doing! We're wearing the guy's shirts, shorts, skate shoes and doing the whole boxers thing ... and the guys are doing the shaved legs, short dresses, knee high socks, pony tails and make up. Should be great for a laugh! Teacher's reckon it's a pretty good idea! :) We...

    Predictions for Essays

I'm certain a case study question will be in. Apparently last year when they didn't include it a lot of schools/teachers cut sick because they'd spent so much of their class time helping their classes researching and memorising their case studies. So, from the reaction that got I forsee that it...

2007 Federal Election - Coalition or Labor/Howard or Rudd?

Just a note. We live in Australia. Our Prime Minister is John Howard, this is the guy we vote for. America's president is George Bush. The End. But, Australia's economic credentials are outstanding, and its amazing to believe that you believe the war in Iraq was not indeed fantastic in what it...

Moving From Y11 Economics to Y12 Economics- Please Help

Hmm, I wouldn't really worry that much about 'studying' over the two week break. It will really be the last proper one you get (apart from 'most' of the summer break), so by all means make the most of it! Given that, if you understand the prelim course and get your head around that stuff and...

2007 Federal Election - Coalition or Labor/Howard or Rudd?

Hmm, sorry but to clarify.. Would you rather read in the paper each day of Saddam Husein murdering hundreds of thousands of innocent Iraqi's merely because they looked at him the wrong way and of terrorist's holding the world at large .. or sit back in the knowledge that the chances of Australia...

    Economics is so boring

Agreed! I really do love economics essays. Its all about exam technique. Also, if you're stuck for statistics there are usually figures in the short answer and multiple choice sections that you can manipulate to suit your essay. To really do well in Economics, it is about making sure you know...

Tips for 2008 HSC Class/Things You Wish You Knew Before Starting Your HSC

Re: Things You Wish You Knew Before Starting Your HSC LOL! Unfortunately I'm guilty of that one... study before/after lunch = Maccas time! What I've learnt/Wish I knew: - Never go on a personal vendetta against your homeroom teacher if he writes your school reference. - Being a house...

    Economics is so boring

Easily! There's nothing more relieving than opening your exam paper, reading the extended response questions and knowing exactly what you want to write. If you get that feeling, you do tend to enjoy it because you finish and end up being like 'wow, that was a pretty awesome essay!' A sense of...

    scaling

Mhm, agreed! I'm sick of getting told 'Oh you're doing Economics and Business Studies .. Good luck getting a 90+ UAI with that' and 'Hahaha Studies of Religion is compulsory for you guys, isn't it? That's gonna scale you down heaps!' And... I want to shoot every person who goes up to my parents...

    General Maths and Mathematics

Well, I struggled a little with Advanced Maths in yr 9 and 10, and chose to do Mathematics in Prelim. Sounded like a good idea, but it wasn't. I ended up ranked around 20/40 with a mid 70's mark, which wasn't too bad, but I was stressing myself out more than I needed to and knew that I could...

    Burnt out??

I've literally burnt myself out! Staying up too late and getting up early just to get everything done! But yea, it's because I'm 'too' motivated and know exactly what I want. I'm happy with my UAI estimation and now I just want to be the one to get it! Mm yea, summaries are done .. study cards...

    Economics is so boring

I love eco! it is my favourite subject by far! i find it really interesting, particularly the issues/objectives and policies. along with that, my class is small so we're all really close and we have possibly the best and most dedicated teacher!

2007 CSSA Economics Trial - Thoughts

I think those two guys clearly deserved the marks they got! Sure they may 'talk like fools' (and honestly who doesn't!?) but they obviously know what they're talking about! Plus, why would their teacher mark them incorrectly when if they did, their marks wouldn't be reflected in their HSC exam...
