    Where u get the formula total amount of work = Area under gaph x 800 I still don't get the relationship between area under the graph and the work required. I though the work done is equal to GPE, but they don't ask u to find GPE. That's reason why I still stuck at this question.:wave:

    I think circle geometry is most easiest part. You only have to learn by heart (I think) 17 theorm and then you be able to solve any questions about circle geometry!!

    I think the simplest way to remember amphoteric is a substance which can act as an acid and as a base!!! That's what learnt from my tutor.

    Graph help!!!

    Can some one help me graph this equation x^3 + y^3 = 1. I've drawn the graph and my graph is exactly the same with the text book's solution. But text book also included oblique asympt y = -x. I can not figure out why they have that oblique asympt. Can some one explain for me????????

    yes or no question

    I think no, just lucky that you have the same stationary point on both graphs. I think you only need to check gradient when there absolute value involve. Other equations just use normal method (calculus to find stationary points)

    Yeah I forgot that x >0 And my graph is wrong too; it has to be reflect around the x -axis not y-axis and moving up 1 unit. I got it now. Thanks
