    2002 UAI's

if you do enough practice essays it will be as good as memorising. if your mind goes blank in the exam you can probably remember some stuff from a practice essay you've done. ideally tho they should prepare you to handle whatever question is thrown at you

    any 1 got a band 6???

most people i know who got a band six, myself included, think practice essays are the best way to go. whether or not you choose to memorise those or use them to help you feel prepared to tackle any question they may give you is personal choice

    King Lear

king lear really isn't that bad i struggled with it for ages but by the time trials came around it because surprisingly easy i never advise this but if you're having troubles getting through it try reading a plot summary first. that way when you read it you won't have to struggle quite so much...

    Wondering....

actually we didn't kill it this year. some great uais but overall we went crap and there are three plc's... well in nsw anyway

    Inbound call centre...

if you want a job at optus doing inbound calls why not get experience doing them at somewhere that doesn't require much experience? pizza hut and a lot of delivery places for example take students. after you worked there for awhile apply to optus

  13. M

    Wondering....

are you sure mlc is the sister school to plc? cause if mlc stands for methodist ladies college and plc used to originally stand for presbyterian ladies college and is a member of the uniting church it doesn't really make sense. i used to go to plc and first i've heard of it. although plc and...

    Tolkein

there are a lot of great periodicals featuring articles on literature and authors. you can access some pretty decent essays and authorities on your subject. go speak to your school or local council librarian
  15. M

    I sold out.

sorry nomza, don't really know about broadway or access i didn't apply for either but i heard from friends the combined law cut-off for access was 97.6
  17. M

    I sold out.

it differs from year to year because law has such a high uai cut-off and is relatively popular, last year they only let in ppl with uai's above 97.6 i think, even if they were on the access scheme but since it changes each year it might be lower this year

    Scholarships - Notification of success/failure

the only people not accepting are those applying interstate if you're only going to a uni in nsw you have to put the course you received the scholarship for as your first preference and thus those ppl have all accepted the scholarship by now interstate people however might decide to take up an...
