ok, so, for example in english adv 2 unit i got 71/100 due to poor results across the year in the trials. i was ranked =49th out of 140 ppl before the trials. Scenario: If someone gets 88/100 in the school assessments (added up) and is ranked first at school, is the relative difference...

so the marks come into play? how does it then? :( just say if i am if one person gets 80/100 (33/90) and another gets 65/100 (ranked 70/90), then what happens?

btw, if your school has the HSC standards packages for 2001 and 2002 for SOR, then go and have a look at it. Chances are that questions are not going to be repeated and you can prepare for the questions that have not yet been examined...

are the marks for the school assessments used only in the rankings , resulting in the moderated school assessment marks (which comes from the HSC exam marks of the peers in your school)? or do they ALSO get scaled and the mean of those school assessments marks taken into consideration by the...

i would say if you're in a selective school with over 100 people doing that topic and you are good enough to come first, then you're guaranteed very high 90s. chances are for the first ranked person's mod. assessment mark will be like 98 or 99 and that he will rip the exam anyway if he could be...

i know this could be a little out of context, although i hope the artworks are marked in terms of their concept, artmaking skills and how well it expresses it, because if artworks are going to get a higher mark if it has 'a lot of money' spent on it, then doesn't this disadvantage the poorer...

to me, SOR1 was easy and i studied only 3 days before the trials, ended up getting above average anyway :D
