    Finance...

umm Accounting doesn't really appeal to me though, Although it does have its advantages, I think it's got a high employment rate for ppl who've just obtained their degrees. I was just flicking through some of the uni course booklets and USYD doesn't seem to offer Intl Bus, only UNSW offers it???

    Finance...

Well thanks for replying guys, Maths is hardly my favourite subject, so I'll need to take that into account before I choose my majors. (before I get too ahead of myself, I gotta worry bout getting the bloody UAI first) And you have to choose your majors in the 1st year?

    Finance...

Hi people, I'm just wondering about Finance Majors in BCom and BEco, I hear its got alot of maths involved in it, Can anyone confirm this. And if so, what level of maths would be sufficient to cover the mathematics involved in Finance. ( I do Extension 1 Maths, but it isn't exactly my...

    Multiple choice section

Okay I'll try clear the issue of small scale/large scale... My Geography Skills Textbook quotes this: "Small-scale maps show a large area of land but with less detail to the features found in the area. Examples of small-scale maps are maps of a country or state." Or as 123 said in previous...

    Multiple choice section

We had a fairly disrupted year, our previous Geo teacher left at the end of term 1 2003, so we got a new guy. And he turned out to be really good, so that was a positive. And since we only have a class of 5, he knows all of us fairly well, and he was kind enough to shout us coffee and a snack...

    Multiple choice section

Yenta, Photo 2 had the smallest scale. Out teacher shouted us some coffee after the exam :D and we went through the MC questions at the cafe.

    What was your fav question???

I was waiting for a "results of urban dynamics in a large city in the developing world" question, Had some good stuff ready for Sydney instead, they chose boring old mega cities

    ecosystems essay

I thought this by far the best essay question they asked, the other two questions were absolute jokes.. I think you needed to talk about both management and protection, I don't think u can just talk about one or the other. If you incorporated both of them, you should be okay....

Theres 189 ppl in our year, 5 do Geo, Very small class

    Internet Question in Short Answers

The only reason why they put it in because it was a Logarithmic Graph, they're just testing your ability to interpret different types of graphs, I think it was right near the end, like 1998-2002...

    Multiple choice section

For Q14, I put D, but i think it was B, I'm still not too sure about what the exact answer is
  14. S

    Colourblind

If you are slightly colourblind, it would've been tough for you. I'm not sure why they chose two colours which were so similiar in shade/colour. I thought Source C (Map of Leeds) was a bit dodge as well, it was far too detailed....

    how ridiculous

I agree loke1, What's most annoying is that we've got to prepare 5 separate case studies ( 2 for ecosystems, 1 for large city, 1 for urban dynamics in a suburb or town and 1 for economic enterprise). And they don't even bother at all asking us essay questions on any of our case studies ( all...

    how many challenges??

Housing I went into some detail, but I was rushed for time so not as much detail for the rest of the challenges, but i'm fairly happy with what I wrote... Did people load up their essays with stats (eg 40% live in poverty), I'm just worried I didn't provide enough examples or stats

    wtf is vocation

well i didn't state a vocation, but tried to put some random stuff for the vocation question, As far as I'm concerned thats 4 marks gone straight down the drain, I'm very disappointed not only with the question but also with my own attitude to the question, I should've given it some more...

    Economic enterprise

yeah was able to slot in little bit of my local enterprise, just as an illustrative example

    how many challenges??

I think of equal importance was "Evaluate the responses to these challenges", I think it was necessary to talk about both equally, not only just the challenge but also the effectiveness of the response.
