    Allnighter

I've never done an all-nighter, but come pretty close. Last year I stayed up till 6:30am doing a geography project and woke up at 8am - not fun. Last week I stayed up till 5:30am and slept till 7:30, then stayed up that night till 1am... I was a bit buzzed from the caffeine though. I don't like...

How did ur 1/2 yearly report go?

Thanks :) That's be nice, but there are 50-ish people in the class (OHS) and heaps are native speakers/people who've been on an exchange and are fluent. Like last year, I got 19.5/20 for speaking, and that was 13th! But hopefully it'll still be a decent rank.

    Who is doing what elective?

My teacher will either do biotechnology or communication. I wouldn't mind doing the first one, but if he tries to make us do communication, I'm getting a tutor so I can do something interesting - genetics :D

    Spiel

Was machst du heute Nacht?

    School funding

A better resourced learning environment is good, sure, but is it really worth $20,000 a year? I dunno... I'm referring to the difference between well-off, 4-swimming-pool private schools and a decent public school (NOT a poorly stocked, rough area public school and a decent public school) but...

60% of Uni Students live below the Poverty Line

Not necessarily. Part of the reason people do uni abroad is so they can attain fluency in another language, which will give them better job opportunities afterwards. What's gonna get you on your way to fluency quickest: - doing a degree at a foreign university - doing a degree in your home...

    The conclusion?

I've written my speech on physical journeys, peppered it with "what I've learned" crap along the way and have under 20 seconds to say a good conclusion. Can anyone help me out with what you're meant to say?
