    Geography Notes Anyone?

What the hell, why do 2 year old threads need to be brought up? If you want notes, your best bet is to go to resources. Since everyone here seems sorted, let this die again.

    how many assesments this term?

I have 7 too, but all the weightings add up to 160% - so basically, 27% of all my in-school assessment tasks.

    yr 11 german continuers

Come talk to everyone and post over at the German threads. Doesn't matter if you're prelim, god knows not enough people post there. Anyway, I never had any textbook (did it through OHS using their modules) and I got=2/51 which I was well chuffed about, considering I'm not a native speaker. I...

    Thing at Goethe Institute

Yeah, I'm going to the continuers' one. It's on the same day as the English excursion to a King Lear production at Bondi, but which one sounds more interesting? I'd already paid for the English one, faxed off the German permission slip, realised they were on the same day and am currently...

    Rules for workers

The only thing that annoys me is some uppity bitches you find working in clothes shops, who stand around talking to their coworkers and flirt with cute customers, then look at you like you're a maggot who is unworthy of having their purchases rung up.

Ever thought about what you REALLY want as a career?

If I were rich and didn't have to work, I would just travel the world and learn languages. I guess that says something about what I'm interested in. So as much as I'd love to study languages and be a linguist/translater/interpreter, I don't know if I'd ever be as fluent in another language as I...

    Help! Bio project

Look in your bio excel book or go to a library and borrow it from there. It does sheep, your herbivores, and nectar feeders, an example of which I believe was the honey possum.

    Is education a right?

http://www.theage.com.au/news/Education-News/When-class-is-a-prison/2005/04/15/1113509921653.html If education is a right which should be offered to prisoners, should it be limited to basic computer, literacy and hospitality courses or do criminals have the right to complete higher education...

    Which elective?

Hey, don't worry, I have a feeling our class will end up doing communication or biotechnology. Genetics just seems to make more sense to me, I realise it means competing against all the Ruse smart people, but unless there is a damn good reason why I shouldn't give it a go, I think I'd prefer to...

    Which elective?

Have you compared the amount of communication dot points and their complexity to other 'hard' options like genetics? There is SHITLOADS of stuff for communication which is barely related to any of the compulsory modules. Then look at genetics, which is just a few dot points which lead on from...

    Rules for Customers

Bloody hell! Is nothing sacred?! It's nothing special, but one customer stole $400 worth of fat buster pills... security guards were on the lookout for any giant overweight women wearing a bright pink top, which is what the cameras showed.

Do distance ed. at OHS or SDEHS?

That's an unusual subject for Oten... how did that come about?

Working at Oporto's: What's it like?

There are about 50-50 guys to girls at my Oporto... the guys mostly work out back, but that might even be their preference. Once the rush is over, they sit out back and chill, getting up occasionally to wash something or make a burger, but mostly eating and listening to music. I wish they'd...

    Crappy Lanuage teachers

lol, i watch kommissar rex on thursdays. i prefer the episodes with moser though and all the death does get boring after a while. some episodes i found well creepy :/ it's really not the type of show i'd watch in english, but the german tv shows are so limited you have to take what you can get.
