I love the shit that is going on here regarding 4wd. Obviously none of you have ever driven off road or driven a proper 4wd like the 70 series troopies. They are the best 4wd's on the market in terms of off road ability. Comfort/speed is another matter. Hummers are too big/slow for offroading.

Um yeh and you probably work in an air conditioned work environment. I work in a coal mine with temps of 35-40 degrees and ground temps of 70+ degrees. The temps get crazy as the sun heats up the coal and reflects a lot of the heat onto you. Do you work everyday or are you a casual given...

Google companies like GHD, Arup, Coffey, Leighton and other smaller contractors. Just google civil engineer firm names and email them. Ask your lecturers. Im a member of APESMA, didnt really use them much, but then again never contacted them.

I would pick the enviro science degree at unsw, or do a BSc at usyd and major in environmental science. Marine biology while interesting (I assume so), is not professional at all really and it will be hard to get a job. To get an enviro job it's much easier. Sorry for the brief reply...
