Yes It depends on where you go and how convincing your parents are at lying though. But most likely you will have to repeat. I've had tutoring students in this situation who have been given leeway by private schools. So, it does depend.

Wouldn't most of the subjects you want to do this for require you to do prerequisites? i.e. You can't really enrol in them earlier.
