Hey man, you can probably apply to another Engg degree with a lower ATAR cutoff but similar/the same first year units and then transfer the next year.

Won't it be hard to tutor 4th year onwards because of the ~unpredictability~ of clinical rotations? (I've been told this has caused some students trouble with finding employment)

They'd offer both a spot they usually have a percentage buffer system afaik because some people usually change and shiz before uni starts and they can always let in less/more people the next year to balance out the numbers
