Yeah... I did SeaChange for this one too... I wrote 10 pages... What did you use as your two related texts? I used *Looking for Alibrandi (Melinda Marchetta, Penguin Books, 1992) and *The Princess Diaries (Disney, 2002)

I used Looking for Alibrandi today as a related text... There is carpet in our exam centre too... I think I will be running out of the place (so I can stuff my knee again and be in pain and have a swollen knee for the formal and not be able to wear my shoes....)

My favourate excerpt was the The Idea of North one (the third one - the accapella ensemble)... It is a great piece, especially when you see it performed live! We had done that one in class in year 11... most of us six recognised it, and so enjoyed it. :) Yeah.

Not true... I got a misadventure in the SC after I sat the exam... Just tell your presiding officer that you are intending on applying for a m/a BEFORE the exam starts: they have to keep an eye on you and take notes about how your acting and stuff so they can give an accurate report... more...

Do the exam, and then go for the misadventure... because if your Dr. says that you could have/should have done it and so won't give you the misadventure, and you didn't do the exam, your seriously up the creek without a paddle...

For me, h/s teaching would hell on earth. Sure, pri teachers have to do a LOT of prep work and have to teach every subject, but to me that isn't as chaotic and hellish as having to face h/s students every period... In pri school kids are still finding their niche`... h/s they have found it...

Ring again and hope for a different teacher

English should be taught as an Arts subject rather than a compulsary one... Cos I suppose for some people it is an art form...
