Hey if you had seen the M/ex2 test you would understand why there was no polynomial questions! Also why there were few equalities. Also what about SHM? That's sorta the same region of mathmatics. I am glad there were no questions of SHM on SHM like an HSC M/ex1 exam a few years back.

I think that is so you don't end up scribbling all over your pretty book of past papers (which they woulda been reproduced for). Can it hurt? You aren't gonna be asked in the real thing to do stuff for no marks, but then again you aren't going to use that paper more than once!
