    Earth Hour should be grounded

Hmm. I wonder if Andrew Bolt could be taking something an expert/organisation said completely out of context in order to suggest that they support his point of view when they actually support the point of view of the people he's attacking? No, that couldn't be it...

    2008 NRL Premiership

My tips for this round: Eels Broncos Storm Dragons Titans Rabbitohs Tigers Sea Eagles Most of the matchups this week are pretty even though, so I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of these are wrong.

Zomg! AWAs will be banned by MIDNIGHT TONIGHT!!

The new act instructs the workplace authority (or whichever of the ~50000 IR quangos is responsible for it) to build a flexibility clause into the new federal awards, which will allow workers to individually negotiate with their employers to customise the award conditions as long as the...

    Rudd v Binge Drinking

Re: who IS responsible for teenage binge drinking? Have what both ways? It's stupid to suggest that because the leader of a political party that is based in the left has particular social views, the entire Australian left must share those views. The Australian left is a massively diverse group...

    Rudd v Binge Drinking

Re: who IS responsible for teenage binge drinking? I'd hardly call Rudd a typical representative of the Australian left. He's much more socially conservative than is usual for people who identify themselves as being on the left of politics.

Who's the head of the law discipline?

Do you mean the faculty? The dean is Gillian Triggs.

    Rudd v Binge Drinking

Hey kidz, let's play an active part in our democracy!!! (I'm writing a letter to my MP to say what a stupid idea this is and that it shouldn't even be considered. Last time I did that I received a total of zero replies, but it's worth a try.)

    Rudd v Binge Drinking

Re: Rudd VS Binge Drinking . But i doubt they'll actually raise the drinking age. It's only been floated as a low-priority option, and at this stage of the policy process that basically means that someone, somewhere has mentioned it. They'll realise once they look into it that it won't do...

Re: Semester 1 Chatter Thread I've just come across a journal that the usyd library doesn't have. It's always really disconcerting when that happens.

Five men charged over Lindsay leaflet scandal

http://www.smh.com.au/news/national/lib-charges-over-leaflet/2008/03/22/1205602728688.html I think a 'senior Liberal MP' saying that "this was the most momentous incident ever in the history of the Liberal Party" might be a bit of an overstatement. Most comical incident ever, maybe.

    Bibliographic Assignment Hmmmmm

There's no specific way that I know of to search for them in the catalogue. Try looking through the bibliographies of your textbook and the other resources you've found, that should give you a few options.

    2008 NRL Premiership

My tips (which I entered on nrl.com before tonight's games, incidentally): bulldogs by 3 roosters raiders sea eagles tigers eels storm titans The rabbitohs don't seem to be starting the season very well. If they can't beat a middle-order team like the bulldogs without Wing then they might be...

    Protest

To be fair, I don't think NUS/SRC support compulsory upfront fees anymore. I think they're just waiting for the findings of the govt review and are having a good protest to let off their anger in the meantime.
