Only half of law graduates enter practise.

Legal Practice is decreasing because of demand, many are consultants, take up other professions, assist Governemnts, International Bodies, Companies, Business and Commerce.

    Crime Speech

Very much so, judgements are also public record, so they are available on Austlii or you could furthermore try contacting the Judge's chambers. To add that extra edge, I would also throw in some stuff from the Law Reform Commission.

    Crime Speech

I have done a 20%, 7.5 minute Crime Speech in legal, they can be stressful. The good thing about legal studies is that you simply have to cover the dot-points, unlike let's say English which a syllabus is made up of paragraphs making it harder to understand what a 100% would require...

    Crime-dot point 3.2.9

OK I am not too sure on that dot-point. But generally you would be expected to look at issues such as what is in plcace in achieving justice. Criminal justice issues would include areas such as enforcement (police powers) and adjudication (process and legal aid) and punishment/rehabilitation...

    what do u think??

[ Even so, the Diploma in Law is hard to complete. The Diploma has a high rate of failure becuase of the lack of external support, however ex-HSC students fresh from school will find it easier becuase of previous study skills. In addition all graduates whether DipLaw/LLB/LLM have to...

    what do u think??

Impossible! Law must be completed as a Bachelor's/Master's (with LLB units) degree or by the Legal Practitioners Admission Board. One needs at least 4 years to complete such a degree (or full time/credit equivalent). High UAIs are apart of the life of Law. It is extremely competative, and...

    Hate tha Government

Corrupt and Lying? Please provide some evidence. As a member of the Liberal Party, I still can't find any lies with our politicians. Stealling Tax? At least you know the tax your parents pay. Its either, Income Tax (which has lowered under Howard and brackets will be raised meaining middle...

    Law At UWS

You are legible to become a lawyer, but Arts is a very broad area. Arts is made up of your own pool of subjects with your chosen majors.

    Law At UWS

That's probably true, from the business perspective, UWS Law graduates really don't move on to become lawyers, even though they have practical legal training.

    Who's going to UWS??

If I can't get into UNSW, I will be doing BSoSc(Criminology) at UWS. A question to all: HOW ON EARTH DO YOU GET TO THE BANKSTOWN CAMPUS? They say Panania is the closest station, even though its an hour walk from the station.

    Law @ Macq

This is not entirely true, Macquarie uni has one of the best law schools, it is certainly a legal pathway and provides for good oppurtunity especially where business is concerned. I found it is better than sydney uni in how it offers Social Science and Law. A little note though, all unis...
