BSc means UNEMPLOYMENT, true or false?

Pretty easy to crack $200 000k if you go rural after your degree, or locum for a while ($100+/hour). VMOs can hit $1 mill.

Pick Melbourne. My friend did this course and now works in a call centre. So make sure you do well in it and know what you want to do with it.

    Aeronautical/Commerce

Many people forget the multitude of applications for aero grads. Think of control systems, exhaust systems, software engineering etc. Just type in aero in seek and you shall see that there are jobs for aero grads - at least more so than everyone says.

    Study Dilemma

It would help if your posts were accurate when giving advice. It would be quite hard to get into honours in finance with lower grades. The MAF is a full fee paying program iirc, which has slightly relaxed entry requirements so you stand a better chance doing that. The fact is, grades do not...

    Investment Banking Internships 2008

lol, it's basically one from each area of finance. You've already ruined the thread with your style of typing! If you are talking about NabCapital vs. CS HK, then go for CS Hk. Asset management is more relaxed, better hours, arguably better people to work with in terms of culture. Do you...

No, the SCATS (Uni version of EAS) only accounts for uni related problems. When you apply to transfer your EAS wont be accounted for.

Bad first year, can I transfer?

The census date is only for financial purposes. If he drops subjects now, they will be recorded as a WD- Withdraw. Not an Withdraw- Fail which would give you 0 GPA.

    University Overseas

Bear in mind its quite hard to get into UC as an out of stater/international. I guess you could always pick Irvine or some less popular college.

Do 1st year units count in your GPA/WAM?

Care to reference that? For Engineering the WAM calculation is correct, but GPA can refer to your whole uni degree also. For applications into further study like for graduate LLB or MBBS they take the last 3 years of study, but I think its best for the OP to ask his/her faculty as it varies.

Unconventional Jobs/Ways you make money without being formally employed

Meter Reader $30/hour if you walk fast and you get fit pretty quickly. Only problem is dogs. They were advertising recently. But you need a car :)

    RBA cuts interest rates

Oh dear. More profits lost as I import from the US. Didn't have much money to hedge properly either. GDP figures should pare some losses though - assuming it's good.

Kingsford legal centre :p ? Thanks for the opinions. Will see how I go with the project over the semester until I make a decision. But I think the project is much more interesting and can be done anywhere.
