I think it's also what you wanna specialise in too. usyd elec engineering can be crock easy if you pick the right subjects...you can technically pass the degree without touching any of the power, control and electromagnetics stuff.

You know funny you say that...one of my friends just moved into tafe for yr 11 and 12 and she said the teachers there said the same thing ("scaling? in my hsc? lolwut?")

3rd year BE electrical here, i recommend doing the bridging course for 3u. That being said, i survived first year with only a band 5 in 2u maths and faired a bit better in 2nd year. It was a struggle, but it's doable. gman03, does 3rd or 4th year seem harder in that degree? I wanna know...

The cost for a liquor license is expensive enough as it is in Sydney, and doesn't the 18-21 demographic comprise a large amount of most venues' turnover? (not sure on this...i have no sauce)

Most selective schools are public, but there are still a few private ones around.

11, 12 and 13 are on the net now, but really crappy versions. No music (there's sound, but no music), some scenes without sound, some weird screen cuts and edits. It actually looks like something straight out of post-production.

Oh, so that's what all those cops outside UTS were doing. I didn't see many at all at usyd, but maybe that's because i came in late yesterday...protest may have moved on already.

Depends on the course/faculty. Alot of engineering courses i know of have 1st year worth 1/4 of 4th year work, 2nd year worth 1/2 of 4th year work and 3rd year being worth 3/4 of 4th year work. The IT faculty at usyd says that they only count the 3rd year subjects when you apply for honors or...

Re: Semester 1 Chatter Thread lol, not like you're missing out on anything...it's just stats. The only thing i remember from that course is that the odds for me winning one of my exams (a-e multiple choice) by guessing all the answers was something like 2%.
