Australia's qualification to the World Cup (Analysis)

Funny game. What did you guys think of the goal? Do you reckon Kewell fluffed the shot? Or did he pass it deliberately? Yes.. Cisse's and Larsson's leg breaks over the last few years were some of the worst sporting injuries I've seen.

    Tony Takitani (Murakami adaptation)

I wonder why it is that Murakami sells so well amongst people our age? Most of his characters are in their mid to late 30s.

    Death of a Salesman

^ Are you sure those are the words your Dad used to describe it? I'm sure you'd be able to get a heck of a lot more out of it if you read it yourself. That's a shonky synopsis of a play if I've ever seen one :p

Firstly I don't think I made any comment about England's game, but if you guys really want to compare, yes, Argentina are a much better team than UAE. Actually they're a much better team than England as well. Until their Milanesque capitulation at the death, they were at England's jugular all...

Well done Moro and especially King Luis. Admittedly I was keep 1/2 an eye on the Spain game while the Socceroos played Uruguay, and this was by far the most fluent I've ever seen them. Great stuff, they have some really exceptional players and it'd be pleasing to see them finally performing to...

Australia's qualification to the World Cup (Analysis)

Chipperfield gives away a free kick on the right side of the area and Recoba's delivery to Rodriguez at the far post results in Uruguay taking the lead. God Chipperfield is an idiot. Interesting to see if we'll chase an equalizer from here on in. If we open up too much and let in another...

Milan Baros doesn't score goals for his club either. But his record for the Czech Republic is something like 25 from 39 games. That's probably the best goal to game ratio of any player today. Cisse's is pretty good as well.

What's everyone predicting? I'd be very happy with a 1-1 draw, or even a goaless draw to take home to Sydney. I'd be pretty confident of qualification with either of those results.

Move over Rainieri, the bj is the new Tinkerman :p A. On current form Rio is the worst of England's defenders, I can say without any bias that Carragher deserves the place more. B. Your lineup, imo, wastes at least 2 of England's 3 best players- Gerrard, Lampard and Rooney...

Happy B'day Jimmy. Agree LMF, Cole for Baptista? Wtf kind of an idea is that? Arsenal already have plenty of players who can play in Baptista's role. They have 1 Cole. The few games where Clichy has started this season they've looked very vulnerable on the left.

BOS English Premier League Fantasy Soccer/Football League

Next gameweek looks pretty dodgy. None of the games look particularly easy to call, so I'm playing with only 3 defenders. Hopefully Drogba will return so I can play 3-4-3

Oh, Bolton begin their long plummet towards relegation of course :D Seriously I'm expecting them to be hovering there abouts with Spurs and Boro to challenge for UEFA cup again.

Unless if Wigan are reeling hard from the 5 consecutive losses in the previous weeks, I see them beating Charlton and City. Charlton anyway, they seem to be losing steam in recent weeks. I think this week will be a turning point to the season. Already we've seen Charlton lose twice in 2...
