BOS English Premier League Fantasy Soccer/Football League

Damn.. should've swapped Rooney for Drogba instead of Stalteri for Warnock. Oh well, still a pretty good result for a low scoring week. Chimbonda was a damn good buy though.

Chelsea 4-2 Blackburn, so much for that. Pool 2-0 Hammers. Should've been something like 6-0 with the amount of chances we had really, but we'll take it.

Yes.. Chimbonda scored. Tottenham let one in though. Good result for Pool

Doesn't prevent it from being lame. 1-0 Spurs (King, 17). Points for my fantasy team :D

Disagree Diana, Joaquin wouldn't have a great time of it at Chelsea at all. They already have 4 excellent wingers, why buy another one?

Nothing that great about the Premier League either. What's so exciting about a league where half the goals are from hoofs up the field to target men?

If Lucas Neill leaves Blackburn for any club bigger than Spurs I'll buy everyone here a drink. The lad's dire.

Australia's qualification to the World Cup (Analysis)

Anyone catch any of the game Pool played against Palace the other day? Liverpool lost, but Kewell was very good. If he continues to play off the rust at this rate, I think he'll be starting the return game.

Lionel Messi versus Quincy Owusu-Abeyie. I must admit I haven't seen Owusu Abeyie in action before, and he looks quite simply awesome. This is compiled from the under 21 World Cup btw.

    r u into asian films?

Ah.. Eva, how I loved that show 6 years ago, and what a great show it was. Can't say I'm looking forward to seeing the live action movie though, unless it's a entirely new sidestory. From what I hear The Lady From Shanghai will not be a remake, but smething entirely different. Personally I...

We're a whole 10 games into the season. Way too early to make any predictions really. Give it another 10 games, then we'll see.

Dreamworks has bought the rights to ATOTS. Unfortunate, this is one Asian horror that's too good for a remake.

    r u into asian films?

Agree midnight. Tarantino isn't to blame. The problem in a lot of cases is that big studios simply refuse to release Asian movies without his seal of approval (as I believe was the case with Hero). Anyway the important thing is for Asian cinema to be getting some attention from Western...

I have every confidence that Scorsese's remake of Infernal Affairs will be superior to the original. Different, but superior. You just can't go wrong with that cast and that director. Il mare though, will be shite.

One league? Barring Chelsea, The PL's produced a fair few surprises.. West Ham, Wigan, Charlton and Tottenham are all performing better than expected, Arsenal and Liverpool have both started poorly. Then of course there's Scotland :p
