    i've done both english papers and 2 unit maths. next week i have four more - spanish, society, cafs then ext1 maths. THEN i have my spanish speaking at parramatta on saturday. after that, i'll be joining you all in celebration!!!!! :)

    HSC Subjects

    if you only choose subjects based on "how well" they scale, you're probably limiting yourself. Choose something you enjoy and that you're good at. If you do well, you'll get good marks, if you do bad, they'll suck. It's not a hard formula!!! ;)

    HSC Speaking Exams

    well, at least it's all over now!! :) I wish mine was... I only got my letter yesterday!! Normally with Spanish they just give you a number and you go in that order, but i've been given an "appointment" time at 11am.

    ^^ egg-zachary!!! i'd rather have my trial to test my real knowledge. that way i can see areas i need improving. besides, you're competing against the people you tell the questions to!!! :) :)

    What my student number for UAC?

    when i went to log in to the Apply by Web thingo it just asked me for my normal student number, followed by the PIN issued this week. it worked, cos my name appeared on the next page to confirm my number. i think once you've paid the rego fee, they issue you with a UAC number, but don't quote...

    i did my speaking for my trial today - i managed to get to 8 mins!!! i was stoked!!! it's good practice for the 28th. btw, has anyone got a letter yet????

    HSC...Got to be a better option!

    well i refuse to call the "trials" (ugh!) trials. I refer to them as yearlies, cos that's what they are in reality. i know you're "trialling" yourself, but the whole word just freaks me out. there has to be a way so that your school certificate studies can carry over to your hsc studies...

    I would consider Campbelltown, Bankstown, Penrith, Parra are part of metropolitan Sydney, but I see where you're coming from. It's mainly the trains that are the bugger. It's easy to get to Campbelltown by car though - I should know!!! Just follow the M5 straight down the line.... 40 mins...

    yeah, i sometimes read it!!! spanish continuers is on 28th August but I haven't received a letter to tell me where yet!!! we don't get a topic - it's all general talk about yourself, family, school, future aspirations etc. so it should be ok. :) good luck with your speaking this week!!!
