    Timetable Question

You can add units until end of Week 2, I think, and withdraw from units until the census date, which is March 31. (I assume timetable modifications also end at the end of Week 2, but I'm not certain.)

A 4hr break on wednesday!! help

Don't worry. I generated myself about five crappy timetables and rejected them all. You'll be fine.

A 4hr break on wednesday!! help

When you click 'try timetable' it gives you a preview of what the new timetable would be, and you can accept or reject it. Once you accept it, it's your new timetable - but you can continue to use the customisation form to change it as much as you want.

    Uni gyms

Yeah, I think the uni gyms are the Darlington one and the Arena. The one in Victoria park is run by Sydney City Council.

    Excited about starting uni.?

OK. I hate hate hate you. But then again, I have two days off and I can get up at 7.30 on Mondays, so I suppose I can cope with two 6.30 starts.

Am I right in thinking there's a gym attached to the public pool in Victoria park?

A 4hr break on wednesday!! help

Isn't there any way you could shift a tute or a lab into the middle sometime, just to break up the monotony?

Ick. Love that five-hour gap on Thursdays.

A 4hr break on wednesday!! help

I've got a three-hour gap that I've been trying to shoehorn an ANHS tute into, but whatever I block off it either gives me the Thursday afternoon tute (bad, because I have nothing else on Thursdays and don't feel like coming in at 4pm) or the 9am Wednesday tute (which is too early). I think the...

    Excited about starting uni.?

Same. I had to write a note to my parents a couple of days ago and it was pretty much illegible.

    Timetable Question

Lecture or tute? There are 50+ tutes for psych, so you could be trying for a long time if you want a specific one.

    Timetable Question

There's a finite number of possibilities, so theoretically if you just keep regenerating and regenerating you'll eventually come up with your previous one. (How long it'd take depends both on how lucky you are and how many different tute and lab sessions are available for your courses.) You're...

    How was your school day?

The tree destruction gets worse. I went through all my sheets and got rid of the unimportant ones every couple of months, but at the end of the HSC I still filled two enormous baskets (laundry basket size) full of paper. Weighed a ton.

    Uni gyms

Would it be worth it signing up to the gym/swimming pool to theoretically get some exercise during breaks? (I have a three-hour gap on one day so I might actually be able to use it to keep one of my stupid new year's resolutions.) Also, how the hell does the pricing structure work? Are the...

    Timetable Question

Note-scabbing sounds good to me. I have a friend doing the ancient history course, and she even has neat handwriting, so I can hopefully get those, so I'll just need to ingratiate myself with someone doing the middle ages and I'll be set.

    Timetable Question

Is it possible to get by with clashing lectures? My two-hour GOVT lecture clashes in the first hour with HSTY and the second with ANHS, but I don't really want to switch to the other GOVT unit for the semester because if I do I'll have 7 hours of classes on Tuesdays and won't get home until 8.30-9.

    Timetable Question

Mine's pretty good - three-day week and the such - apart from the MegaClash between three different lectures. And I've got stuff in bizarre buildings I've never heard of, like Bosch and Edward Ford.
