No, you can't do standard in Year 11 and then switch to advanced. Preliminary Advanced English is a prerequisite for HSC Advanced English. If you are going to change you have to do it whilst you are still in Prelim.

The tests are fair, I mean, why would an advanced student bother trying the advanced course (obviously more difficult than standard) when it was more than possible to achieve a band six in standard with presumably less work. The standard test just doesn't give the candidate the capacity to...

SC kids aren't ranked and nothing concerning the results is published I know this cos my aunt works for BoS so whoever said that :rolleyes:

no one came out, it was for a whole week and we had to do everything--develop a product, do all the reports and stuff, make an add and do all the finance and product control shit

I personally (i know others don't) find legal relatively straightforward and I don't find any of the concepts difficult, its just the essays require you to put a lot of effort into legislation media and cases etc
