Hey Andrew I can confirm that it is not a browser issue. I believe that you might have the same issue that I had. A unit is added but it never shows up on the confirmation pages? Also is this a fifth unit or forth?
Firstly, check your financial statement to see if the class is on there...
What degree are you doing? Mine seems to work fine but if it doesn't work you need to contact Sydney Student helpdesk Monday morning then tell them and hopefully they can forward your case to the Sydney Student IT dudes!
Sweet. I just wanted to confirm since the exemption requirements for gen ed are quite tedious and I wanted to take other classes which I might not be able to if all my elective credits were accredited with my transferred credits.
Thanks.
Hey guys. I wanted to ask if I was transferring credits from another university that did have an equivalent subject at UNSW and could be considered as gen ed. Can I use them as part of my general education quota?
Eg: http://www.handbook.unsw.edu.au/undergraduate/courses/2014/ARTS1810.html...
Thanks. With UAC's changes in its application and offer dates, as I am applying for semester 2, does UNSW restrict applications to the June round?

Thanks. Do you recommend applying with my TER (From TPC) or should I apply with both my TER and my USYD records? My USYD records have been mediocre at best (High Credit- 73-75 range).
Hey guys. I'm looking to transfer from USYD(B.A) to UNSW(B.Av Mgmt). I've completed 1 year worth of subjects which have absolutely nothing to do with aviation. Has anyone ever gotten exemptions for Gen Ed? As well as how difficult is it to get credits for previous studies when UNSW has no...
All depends on the context....
There is a place on the first floor to the right hand side as you enter. There's also a microwave and sink. Most of the time if I'm eating non-hot and dry foods its fine as long as you don't make a shit ton of noise that disturbs other people. I would also...
Seconded. For anyone that is looking at this thread for help. I recommend using EndNote. Incredibly powerful referencing tool. Most of the time you are able to import references straight from the source of your journal article and the libraries which are on the list (ANU,USYD, etc).
Yep and if you do mention any material that is not your own (articles, research papers, theories, etc) just remember to cite them even if its in the intro.
Also, having more references isn't necessarily a good thing. Quality > Quantity as standard.
I'll PM you something. Generally, its done by citation eg: Biggs (2004) stated that blah blah blah. But it really depends on citation style and how you would like to introduce it.
Really!??!? Shittttttt.... My tutors for the past 1.5 years all said no. They pretty much quote that its an unfair advantage plus they didn't have time. Maybe its my faculty? Both ECOP/GOVT departments said no :(
There generally isn't any notification other than what is stated within to UoS Outline. Maybe when you're closer to the due date they'll give you some more info...?

Learning Center: http://sydney.edu.au/stuserv/learning_centre/
Learning center generally opens up during the first week of the semester, and they're full pretty much on the same day. So I recommend getting in early. On top of that tutors...
