the marks you are given for the process of composition are what make up your final ranks the assessment marks u get on ur hsc certificate get scaled from school to school so it's your rank that counts and not ur final school mark (although how far you are from the standard deviation counts)...

heh @ ppl with colossal 400 page journals mine was 20 pages and the markers never saw it :cool: the only problem is that a bad journal can result in a bad assessment rank
