Australia vs Rest of the World (cricket)

Expect to see Brett during the VB series and playing for Aussie A. Aussies will use a rotation system for bowlers and maybe batsmen, with the likes of Mcgrath, Gillespie, Kasper, Hogg and Binger all rotating. I'd like to see Macgill have a crack rather than Hogg.

Australia vs Rest of the World (cricket)

...or Australia vs Australia A - which they already have. The Australian team proving they are the worthy squad, and the A team showing that they deserve a chance. Both teams are far better than any international team.

Where do you get these stats from? I got mine from cricinfo. Also, interesting to see exactly who the batsmen were.

Murali winning the battle (against his critics)

Murali (yes, also Vaas) is the only reputable bowler on the SL attack. He therefore bowls almost up to 40% of the teams innings. This is a hell of a lot. Most of his wickets - some 380 are from the bottom 6 batsmen. Once Vaas makes the breakthroughs with the top order, Jayasuriya then uses...

    First in the State: ptitsa

Similar case with our class. Two of my former fellow extension history buddies' work is of the elite standard, yet they only made the high 30's and early 40's respectively. They are currently appealing. Not me, I managed 48. But yes, a lot less people received the top band this year. Trend...

Murali winning the battle (against his critics)

Of Muralitharan's 532 test wickets, only 185 of them have been the opposing team's top 6. (cricinfo) Sanaths ploy of getting one of their men to the top? Surely not. But it has put SL on the map... It's all about the economy...

Murali winning the battle (against his critics)

His credence should be based around his athletic ability to bowl in excess of 50 overs per innings (most of the time the majority of the SL bowling). Despite his remarkable ability to bowl teams out (or so), his unique action will be forever tarnished and overshadowed by the guise of...
