thanks everyone. i did quite well in the trials, but i am kind of getting a bit slack now. i am still quite worried , because we are really in a rush to finish the courses.

i did quite badly. 70/120, 58% the paper doestnt include mechanic and volume. but my teacher says its considerably harder than the actual hsc

thanks heaps. for the last question, they actually pay the money to me next year. i mean do i have to go to unsw if i decide to go to other universities and not get the money?

thanks so much. i just always have a feeling that i am not working hard enough so that i wont be able to get a high uai. maybe i just have given myself too much stress.

maths ex1, 1/7 maths ex2, 1/4 economics, 1/14 physics, 1/18 esl, 3/14 i will be doing my trial next week, this is the rank before the trial. it might look really well. but my school isnt good at all. it ranks around 170 in the state, and i am sure the subjects i am doing is not the best...

i used a different approach. change 2i into mudulus- argument form, then you have mudulus 2, argument pi/2 then you can equate the argument and mudulus in part ii with this. solve them simultaneously, you should be able to get tan(alpha/2), then do a bit of trig, you can work out what sin...

i think its absolutely fine. there is one chinese girl in my esl came here since yr 7,she has not got any trouble. but her english is crappy though..

if u r going to learn it? definitely simplied charater is the one u should do. The overwhelming majority of chinese users uses simplified characters. as far as difficulty is concern, simplified is much much easier. Sadly, traditional chracter is much more commonly used in australian...

i am a chinese native speaker. i'd say that chinese is easier than english. i think the only thing hard for u is probably tone, if u speak a non-tonal language, (english, all european languages)

im using coroneos and fitzpatrick, so far we almost finished complex no. , but questions in fitzpatrick seems to be much easier than coroneos. the last part about locus in coroneos was really tough..
