    Mechanics Issues

2 and 3 u motion topics are examined in 4u. Whether it's actually harder is a matter of debate. Most 3u questions in 4u exams, while not involving extra theory, are usually more difficult than if they had been in a 3u exam in the same context.

    English essays!

I read the second essay, and I thought it was very good. Remember to give the dates of the texts after citing their title in the intro. As I've only read GG I'll only comment on that section. I thought the arguments were well made, but in some instances better examples could have been used...

cambridge has teaches everything in the syllabus. only the extension questions go beyond it. i think it is clearly the best book out there, but if you're disatisfied you can try fitzpatrick or coroneos.

It's in the syllabus, but you can't assume the result. They'll ask you to prove it before giving a question that uses the result.

for Med application... how much do you write?

He looks after selection stuff. Yes, I was confused cos in last years cv form it said "The Faculty may use other information you have provided here to assist in the selection process," but they've taken that line out of this year's cv form.

for Med application... how much do you write?

If you want to get around the limited space given type up your answers. And also, and I could be wrong, the cv is not used to determine interviewees, but can be used in the final selection process.

    CSSA vs HSC Exam

How true that is. I got 114 in SGS trial, losing 4 marks in q3/4/5, and getting 13/15 in q8. I never really had enough time to check over my answers in 4u exams.

    CSSA vs HSC Exam

From my experience the CSSA papers are more twisted than HSC, ie the Arnolds make frustrating questions where you have to notice some trivial trick. Once you get used to that style of questioning, I think they become easier than HSC questions. With HSC a student like you can pretty easily get to...

    Freedom of Choice

Tough predicament. Get your parents to make a big deal about, like hassal the head teacher and stuff. They can make things difficult for you, but they shouldn't be able to stop you. And although standard and advanced may be scaled the "same," advanced will give you an advantaged. Subjects are...
