I don't think you interpreted him quite properly Keypad?
phil your mark of 78 is not a rank, it's just an aligned mark fitted to the BOS band standards. A mark of 78 doesn't mean you beat 78% of people. For example, 95 for English Adv this year was the top 0.7% of the state. That correlation...
Yeah, English Adv, Maths Extension 1 and Maths Extension 2, Ancient History, History Extension, Physics and Chemistry.
edit: I'm talking about the Band 6 honour roll here, not the top in state one.
99.90 :)
SAM gave me 99.95, but I always knew it would be touchy, and I expected 99.90 when I read in the SMH that this year had the highest marks since the introduction of the New HSC.
Can someone provide details about any prizes that are awarded based on the HSC?
Specifically, the Premier's Award (when are you informed? where is the ceremony? is the Premier actually there? what do you actually get? does English have to count in the ten units above 90?) and the other award...
Well probably, you need proper aligned marks though... I don't what the advantage or factual basis of this guy's system is, just curious ... of course Laz will always be king of UAI calculating :)
There is no maximum afaik ... 38% of people in the 2003 HSC who got a UAI of 100.00 did 15 or more units ... but keep in mind that could be spread over more than year.
