    Smart to dumb!

    You shouldnt expect god to give you good marks just because you prayed the night before. its better to place your faith in whatever preparation youve done and if you are going to pray, i guess all you can ask for is that luck is on your side and that youll get whatever you deserve.

    wat topics r pplz up to?

    umm.... ive done complex, polynomials, integration and volumes so far. Only a few chapters left and harder 3unit shouldnt take too long since 6 of the 7 4uniters have already done 3unit the year before.

    Projectile Motion

    Theres not much to master in physics projectile motion anyway. 3unit projectiles are heaps more interesting and unlike physics you derive your formulas instead of being spoonfed

    problem on exponetials Please help please

    y=x<sup>2</sup>e<sup>2x</sup> y' = 2xe<sup>2x</sup> + 2x<sup>2</sup>e<sup>2x</sup> @x=1, y = e<sup>2</sup> @x = 1, y' = 2e<sup>2</sup> + 2e<sup>2</sup> = 4e<sup>2</sup> :. normal = -1/ 4e<sup>2</sup> y - e<sup>2</sup> = -1/ 4e<sup>2</sup>(x-1) -4e<sup>2</sup>y + 4e<sup>4</sup> = x-1 x +...

    2u/3u maths

    why dont you ask your teachers for a copy of the test? 2units pretty simple, you should be able to do most of it on your own anyway. half an hours worth of excercises a night is more than enough practice

    should i drop 3u maths?

    You can still receive a pretty good mark actually if you ace your HSC exam. when i did 3u last year i barely passed my half yearlies and failed my trials yet i still ended up with a mark of 45/50 all thanks to getting 47/50 in the actual HSC.

    need text books, whats some good ones?

    i find it extremely surprising that you did so much better in 4u than 3u. Past papers are the way to go. i barely did any of the questions in the 3u fitzpatrick text (some of them were pretty hard)

    yeah the "proofs" pretty common. and you really didnt have to add a + b=a subtract 'a' from both sides b=0 as b was set to one this means that 1=0 add 1 to both sides 2=1 a+b=a is where it usually ends

    How-To-Study Effectively Techniques Workshop

    We had one at school a few weeks ago, it wasnt worth it. I mean, all these motivational speakers teaching you effective study skills and stuff like motivates the student for half a day or so but thats about it. after a week, its back to the same old routine. there should be a workshop that goes...
