Yeah, I did History Ext. As it was worth 80% the major work played a huge role in determining internal assessment mark through ranking. Compared to S&C it appeared to be of much greater significance, but I understand that a percentage of external is a different thing altogether.

oh okay, my mistake! been reading the most contradictory things on BOS regarding 1st state rank notification - consensus seems to be that they are notified a day prior to the release of HSC results, but what you're saying regarding the ceremony seems logical.

1st in state is released then (16th). The other state ranks aren't released until the 17th, with the rest of the HSC results. you're aiming to get 1st, namu? or top 10?

apparently 1st in state students receive a call the day before the HSC results are released. thus they have a week.

of course someone who did 10 units can achieve 100 UAI. it's just logically less likely to occur as you have comparatively no room for mistakes or epic stuff-ups.
