well our school is like majorly flexible so they let the good adv students pick up ext1 english as long as they read all our texts and do the assessment tasks- a essay, writing portfolio and speech. they don't have to do the exam. one of my friends only did advanced this yr but is picking up...

Even tho the english courses aren't linked in our school the ppl who go good in adv also tend to be the ppl who go well in ext1. with ext2 because any1 can do some ppl do these boring major works and u tend to see the ppl who do the good/great ones are good ext1/adv students.

PIP= personal interest project for society and culture.

In our school you can leave after the lst hour of a exam but then in the last 15 mins you can't leave. I can't stand ppl leaving early. It's soooo distracting. Personally i dont get how ppl can leave their HSC exams early. you work for like 2 yrs towards it. then u leave early :rolleyes:

don't worry. you just gotta believe in yourself. my half-yearly 64% (totally dissapointed, ranking crap). my yearly-92%(lst in the grade). I reckon you should stick with it. i think its good to have some dissapointments so then you can learn from them.

I think it depends on what u want to do. stuff scaling, bands everything just look at what will be best 4 u. me personally i do adv cause i think its much more interesting + there's that whole u cant do ext1&2 without doing adv thing.

well im hoping to avoid the reality that in 2 weeks according to my school we will be in yr12. im going to live in ignorance... :cool:

woohoo i got 30/30. i was totally shocked cause it was such a botch job and our teachers have been marking SAC forever but pleasant suprise nevertheless :eek:

Hmm maybes it your school or just you. In my exams i used all my time, except for bio cause i didnt care too much about it anyway. One of my teachers actually said to me the papers at the top (meaning the ones handed in last) are always the best and get lower from there...

I'm doing 10 but im not dropping maths straight away. I'm really happy with all my subjects that im doing because i came 1st in all but 1 and then i have ext2. For some reason though i just can't drop maths, i mean i dont want to have to worry about it when im doing my major works for society...

Well for english i didnt really study that much, the main things i did was- to know my AOS really well and i prepare a essay for section 3 because generally its so broad. For modules I just learnt the texts fairly well and hoped for the best! Basically i just understood context and setting...

gosh every1 has like such short exam periods!!!! Ours went for 3 weeks but like they put the yr11 exams and yr12 trials on at the sametime but thats probably cause theres only like yr11 and 12 at our school... Totally good luck to every1 on their exams...totally use the days u have off, thats...

Hello....anybody???? :rolleyes: :) Meh...talked to my teacher today so its cool...although it does seem im talking to myself in this thread.

My teacher asked me to type my answers up from the exam because i got 20 for both...so i'll post it here soon as well.
