i agree with muli... they won't let you do either. a co-req is the same as a pre-req. and they won't let you overenrol in first semester in your first year. there are higher chances of failing if you overenrol and those chances are greater if your a first year student.

actually i think its a bad thing cuz you become all dead set on the timetable you want and if you don't get it you get disappointed. they should do what usyd does and give you a personalised timetable and if your not happy with it you can go about changing it. i think the usyd timetabling...

usyd doesn't have a combined b. adv sci/b. adv sci (math) degree. if you wanted to do adv math, you would have to be in the b. adv sci degree and just pick the adv math units. this would mean you only have 1 degree!

the HECS rules state that you can not do MORE credit points than outlined in your degree. if you do so, you will have to pay for those courses as a fee paying student does. but i'm don't think the uni will mind.

student activity fees are $189 pre semester. i'm going on the 19th! lets hope they have spots in the classes i want!!

all students get a discount on textbooks no matter if they are a member. i think the discount is like 5% or 8%. if you choose to become a member and pay the $25 membership fee, you will get an extra 10% discount on top of the student discount!
