It's meant to be easy. It's basically a recount of what you saw in court and give some short opinion on what you think of it and some comparison. Prehaps how the outlay of the court in the supreme court and local court intimidate the defendant...or even how quickly the proceedings go. You don't...
I know people who actively ignores other friends because they are 'quiet' or 'don't talk'. It is a psychology I am unable grasp. As Azure said I wouldn't directly confront them about it. Try to talk to them more but if they remain like that then I suppose finding new friends is the only way to go.
Re: UNSW Food - Expensive or Cheap?
I am envious. Good old days. :D
It's all cool. Still way cheaper than campus food according to my strict calculation. A loaf of bread ~ $5 (divide by ~5 uses = $1), ham when sliced <50cents, couple of lettuce...etc another 50cents. $2 sandwich is hard to...
Re: UNSW Food - Expensive or Cheap?
Lol I should have realised this earlier, I didn't know such thing existed until second yr.
:( One thing I miss high school about is the cheap food.
Anyway, food prices at unsw varies, but on average I think it's fairly expensive, and yes I blame the...
The problem with this uni is that it's in the middle of nowhere. Maccas is the only place I frequent outside uni, and there aren't much to do inside campus. If I have any spare time I will use it to study, so I don't have to do it at home.
14 hr is the correct answer for unsw.
3 commerce subject with 3 hr contact hour each = 9 hrs
For law you will be doing foundation of law PLUS legal research = 4+1 hr = 5 hrs
14 hr total.
Re: Is there any use bringing a laptop to uni?
I feel that my productivity skyrocketed since buying a laptop (netbook, to be precise). It's great especially for law because I can edit my notes easily in class as the lecturer speaks. Also, facebook and msn whenever the lecture is boring the crap...
I would advice you to combine it with a course which would help you in your 'second preference' career. In my opinion law is not really a likable subject (admittedly I may be bias on this). I am told that the dropout rate for law in the first year is comparatively high and I know quite a few...
It depends on the course I suppose, but generally it would get more difficult, though not necessarily in a frightening way. You'd be more prepared for more difficult stuff as you progress.
I am bracing for a huge decline this semester. Been getting 60s for all my law assessments and the finals didn't help me either...
so Crim 1 -low 60s
Contract 1 - mid 60s
Public - low 60s
ACCT2522 I expect credit, but want a distinction so I have an option to do honours, could...
I am sorry that you feel this way. Loneliness has been my biggest problem since uni started. If you want read about my situation search for a thread titled 'first day worst day' then you will see how depressed i was during the first day of uni. I also posted subsequent threads in unsw forum...
Teachers no, I did went back to HS twice since graduation but that's that and it felt awkward.
High school friends yes and frequently. They are still my primary source of social life.
