So I finished my first year of engineering, all went well except for Math1003 which I failed.
I've enrolled myself into summer school but I'm currently having second thoughts Since ive started working
In order to do Math2061 next year I need to pass Math1003
Anyone ever done summer...
Okay so i couldn't access my email for some time and was only able to today. I noticed i had received an email stating what type of Maths we should be doing depending on the level of Mathematics completed in the HSC.
Now it says to do Maths1001 if you have completed Extension 1 Mathematics...
So I've been accepted and enrolled into BE (Flexible), I know the course is quite difficult but how difficult is it? How much hours of work am i expected to put in?
I didn't do Ext 1 Maths in year 12 because i dropped it in year 11 thinking i wouldn't do engineering in uni, and I'm still not...
Before receiving offers in 20 mins. Is there things i should know about making my timetable such as good times? personally i work better early morning or later in the day and anything during or after accepting an offer?
I have applied for FEAS and the Flexible Entry Scheme at usyd, therefore placing two courses higher than my ATAR as my top 2 preferences. If I'm not accepted by any of these two programs but i made the cutoff for all my other preferences, do my top 2 preferences get disregarded?
I know that the courses and careers we wish to pursue should be ones we feel passionate about, I'm interested in aerospace engineering and despite not making the cut-off i aim to gain entry into the course, however i fear that there are limited positions in aerospace careers. So what careers are...
I got an ATAR of 82.55, which I'm not over the moon about but not mad about.
I want to do aerospace engineering at either UNSW or USYD which both are over 90.
Now I've learnt that i could just do a B Science, made the cut-off, at either uni and I'd get exemption of 5 subjects and transfer...
I took a look at engineering at unsw and aerospace caught my eye, but then i took a look at usyd and i noticed that they have aeronautical (space), mechanical (space) and mechatronic (space). I'm woundering is Aerospace at unsw the same as aeronautical (space) at usyd.
Disregard different...
If you don't make the cut-off for your first preference but have made the cutoff for your second, does the second preference become your first? I''ve heard this somewhere but I'm not sure if its true
the marks we recieved for each of our subjects, are they raw marks or scaled? and if they are scaled is there anymore scaling or calculations through rankings left to do to obtain our final atar?
when it comes to your individual marks for each subject and then the final ATAR mark, does the school's performance affect both the individual marks and the final ATAR? or does it only effect the individual marks of each subject?
So for my SoR 1 exam, in section 2 i wrote about 10 lines over the lines for the first question and about 3 lines over for the third question. Do the markers read what i wrote even though it goes over the lines?
