Most of my text books have already been returned to the school... The books to the side are refference books for my extension histpry major and some related material for english.
Ignore the shoes.
I am very very far from ready. I know alot of historians, and can talk about the schools of history in depth... but when it comes to specific examples like quotes and such I have zilch. My historiography essays end up being broad sweeping philosophical statements...
Which unfortunately gets me...
If you d go with Conquering Chemistry you must be careful when reffering to the answers for the excercises in the back of the book. Many of these solutions are wrong as we discovered over our 2 years in chemistry.
Aside from that, it is a very good text book.
The head marker maybe! But I am talking about the head marker's sister. The one with the beehive haircut and the horse-like teeth.
Her daughter is a piano prodigy and trained her cat how to talk.
My mum's friend taught her how to play piano.
But the head marker's sister's two year old daughter's cat told me that when they said one what they really meant was THREE related texts, because there is three letters in the word one.
I mean it was fairly obvious.
I don't know why all you people didn't realise that from the start.

Yeah. It had a stroke early in the morning, mum took him to the vet to be put down after she dropped me at school for the exam :s
I was pretty upset during the exam but wasn't sure they would really allow that as misadventure...
I have 3 extra units to play with anyway, wasn't a big deal if I...
I am going to be entirely honest, my raw mark was probably about 50-60....
I am much more an english/humanities person, and the fact that my beloved pet dog died the morning of the exam didn't really help that either.
I've done 4 so far and have 4 left
English Paper 1, 2 and Extension and Ancient History DONE
Chemistry, Legal Studies, Extension History and Geography left!
For me it was the fact that it asked about what the sources reveal about "industry in Pompeii" rather than "these industries in Pompeii" that made it seem to be asking more about the nature of industry as a whole.
Like, industry in Pompeii was mostly based around foods and services related...
I essentially went on to talk about how "In crime writing the innovative becomes the tradition", I discussed the ideas of "goldenage" and "hard-boiled" crime fiction and how the ideas portrayed in the texts and the ways of constructing them were innovative in their contexts, but as time went on...
I read the stimulus for sci-fi and I was so glad that I didn't have to do that one!
It seemed very confusing and figurative.
It's all about how you use the stimulus anyway... :s So I guess it was alot mor eopen to interpretation then say... a picture of something.
My gosh! That exam was a breeze.
Very happy with the Crime Writing questions.
I normally write Golden-Age for my creative but today I felt like doing Hard-Boiled from the POV of a femme fatal, turned out good I think =D
Essay= 10 pages
Creative= 11 pages
Good effort I think.
