tbh i think i just burnt myself out trying to get as much done the week i got it, so now it just feels like a slog to get through if that makes sense?? which sucks because i actually enjoy research and stuff i’m just really sick of looking at that google doc rn haha
i have three whole study periods tomorrow so here are my goals so i don’t forget them when i’m sleeping 🙏
- continue that cafs assignment grind
- do my ext english homework (so i can start my assignment on the weekend. maybe.)
- optional side task: scab food off the food tech class that runs at...
i am (unfortunately) a cafs enjoyer but oh my god i am HATING doing this irp!!!! 😍
because of the way my school does hsc w/ compressed curriculum and stuff, i turned in my ext eng irp in at the start of may to finish the prelim course, did my exams, was like “oh my god i’m free”…. first day...
they moved the due date for my cafs irp forward it is a wonderful day to be alive! (although it was funny being students who were obviously putting it off scrambling to get it started i will admit)
guys my test is tomorrow and all i've done is browse over my notes once i'm so cooked (it's a one period prac task with a writing section i am praying on my yapping skills to carry me through)
goal for this week: get my cafs irp done so i'm not doing it the night it's due 🙏 🙏 🙏 (also study for my investigating science test probs but i can wing that easy)
life hacks with rosieohposie: if in year 11 you don't finish all your essays in exams and leave questions unanswered, then when you start finishing your exams entirely with full essays you will look so much more impressive!!!!!! (source: my experience. do not try at home if grades are important...
omg i'm so sorry for not replying until now - i didn't accelerate, i'm doing a compresed curriculum hsc (which i suppose is similar?) for clarity here's what nesa describes the system as because i don't think i can describe as clear myself haha
"In a compressed delivery model, students complete...
actually if you get the secret super band 7 they tell you your atar in september before the hsc exams even start!!!!!!!!!!!!! (this is 100% real. my friend told me. trust)
i have no idea how this system would work at a larger school tbh... the biggest reason it works at mine is because the year 11/12 cohorts are both tiny and can be easily mixed and still be smaller in size than most mainstream schools, fitting like 200 students into an exam hall sounds like hell
it's nice around exam periods but it's definitely a grind sometimes, like missing one day at my school is basically equal to missing two mainstream which can add up really quick
i’m not doing an accelerated hsc so i’m probably not the right person to talk to about it!! i’m doing a compressed curriculum hsc which is it’s own beast haha - but i do agree with your point about learning about new ways of taking the hsc on here, i do think it’s pretty neat there are different...
i did modern last year (i'm doing a compressed curriculum hsc... so like speedrun prelim & hsc course for 3 subjects y11, sit exams, repeat) and i'm gonna be so real it was so much better than ancient mostly because i was more interested in it
guys i did it i turned in the paperwork to drop ancient history today, war is over 🙏 (idec about my atar anymore i just want to make i through the hsc with some sanity left)
