I said I wanted underwriting. Does the division affect whether they accept you? Like if i'm the only one going for underwriting, does anyone think my chances increase?

Well for Zurich there's the initial interview and if you get through that, there's another interview with the managers before you get chosen. So that makes 2 interviews with Zurich and 3 including the one with Alister/Joanne of Business Cadetships.

I did more research into it and yes the lack of majors is kinda turning me off as I don't think I can do a double degree if I were to get a cadetship. The uni itself sounds good though! Thanks guys.

I was thinking of doing Accounting and either HR or Management. It seems that the two universities are pretty similar. I'll go to the open days and see which 'feels' right to me. Cause i'm tossing up between USyd and UNSW for my first preference.

I've heard people going on about how UNSW is the best for commerce but is it really? You guys are the ones actually taking a course in the eco/bus faculty so how do you guys find it? Are the lecturers pretty good? And the atmosphere? Any insights would be great. Thanks!

I'm thinking of doing a Bachelors of Commerce here next year and I'm just wondering what people think of the faculty here at Macquarie. Are the lecturers generally good? What about the atmosphere? Is everyone really motivated and stuff? Would you say it's better than the more popular USyd and UNSW?
