Ugh that was really hard? How did you go?

Didnt think about the signal strength but l wrote about electromagnetic radiation emitting from the PDA and signal transmitter

    Analysis of exam

My personal analysis Q1-20 I'm not sure whats the last couple of questions but l predict (ifeveryone else is right in the other thread) l got about 3 wrong. I'm quite sure 19 should be d and 20 be b. But l'm happy to wait and see what happens. Q21- The first question about communication...

Ugh that was really hard? How did you go?

Thats not phased, phased is when you implement part of a project, tutorial is suppose to have been already done before implementing. I put down parallel so students + teachers can use both and test out the new one and allow them to revert back to the old one if they need to for assignments etc.

    Option: Decision Support

Yeah, didnt have enough time for the last one in DSS, data types?? But the rest of DSS was ok, lucky there werent any spreadsheets

    Multiple Choice

When was it stored? The data store there is for flight availability, no where in the diagram is there a data store which has a detail datastore. Its b since ther customers details, including payment details are sent to the process of making a booking

Ugh that was really hard? How did you go?

It can also be within the hospital someone can be gaining access to the records within the hospital. Another technical issue l put in was the fear of electromagnetic radiation paranoia from the PDA's and the wireless transmitter in the minds of patients and staff who could fear they might get...

Ugh that was really hard? How did you go?

I sorta guessed correctly what a intelligent agent was, l remembered it had something to do with search engine algoriths, lucky :) But the last question in DSS was hard

Ugh that was really hard? How did you go?

Agree (but not in those terms, lol), how could you write 11 booklets, l wrote 7 booklets (cause l had two for multimedia but only wrote a couple of lines in the 2nd). Practically no one asked for more than an extra booklet from the people doing ipt at my school (and a lot probably would get band...

Who is ready for it :D

2004 was the easiest, got 18/20 for MC but 2003 was the hardest cause l only got 15. But the ARC trial papers are crap as, the MC dont relate back to IPT and were useless. Anyway now l'm just remembering the key terms and going through notes etc

    Barker 2001 IPT Trial

    my answers go like d b c (not sure on this one, they only ask for two fields 9or attributes) so why would you want to waste having two tables to hold the info) c d d c a d d a d c a a b a c c c

    Barker 2001 IPT Trial

No, another point is that the interviewer can use active listening to make sure the data is accurate. With questionnaires for example the results can be misinterpreted. The rest of the choices are wrong A- They are extremely expensive, say you have to interview 1000 people, imagine the cost...

    MC Question

Can someone list them all, l completely forgot about binaries as well

How Much Do You Study IPT?

As long as you've did the work during the year its not that hard to study, all l'm doing is reading through the textbook and repeating crap l dont know like spreadsheets and the key multimedia terms

    2004 ipt exam pretty easy :( = 2005 hard?

l meant the 2002 DSS and Multimedia sections, the short response seems pretty easy but l hate the social and ethical issues, you never know how many points your suppose to write to get full marks

    2004 ipt exam pretty easy :( = 2005 hard?

I found 2002 the hardest of them all, though 2001 was pretty easy. I'm hoping for a test which is easy in the option topics, l usually stuff up there and get only 30-35 which will push my mark down to around a possible 90-95 (then minus off the MC and short answers) and l'll predict based on the...

    Syllabus Question

It could be in one of those 2 mark questions in Q21-24 asking what so and so say parity bit is etc.
  17. S

    Multimedia Study thread

Might, cause some of the Multimedia sections usually ask for the meaning, but l'm just reading through my multimedia notes so if it asks for an explanation l'll know, but they surely wont ask that question in a long response question

    CSSA 2005 Question

Most teachers usually follow the marking guide extremely strictly, so l doubt the marks would swing a lot depending on the teacher. 79 is good enough to possibly scrape in a Band 6 if its CSSA (not sure whether Ind. is harder than CSSA)

    Raw mark fo band 6

The thing l hate about studying in the library (l do prac trial papers so l dont do something else at home) is when either someone talks really loudly on their mobiles or just makes heaps of noise. Its extremely distracting and makes me loses my focus... btw how many trial papers have people...
