For Ling 109 I get to do research participation as part of my assessment (participating counts for 5% of my mark :))....so just out of curiosity what kind of things do they test u on?

I've found I don't have a problem researching for assessments early on but i leave the actual work til the last minute.... so in a way i prepare for my procastination :confused: . I dunno...everything seems to turn out alright in the end.

Meh...everyone seems to skip a tute or two :). Absences are particularly noticable on the days assessments are due in.

What are teachers getting paid for then?! Isn't it their job to teach people or do you think they're just babysitters? Your sig says that you're doing a bachelor of education...are you gonna be one of these teachers that relies upon kids having tutors for every fucking thing and just show up...

Actually... uni for me so far has been a walk in the park compared to the HSC. I've been doing assessments the night before and have been skipping lectures and stuff and I'm getting distinctions :cool:. At uni I've found that they're a lot more flexible on rules and stuff too. Uni ftw
